Course Details

One to Two Basketmaking Tuition can be designed to fit to your specific need. This type of teaching is the most productive way of learning and can be the decisive factor in making major leap forward on your basket making journey. Jenny has been teaching basketmaking and willow growing for over 30yrs and has a wealth of experience to share in all aspects of growing and making with willow. She teaches at all levels from the absolute beginner to the full time professional. After booking, your session starts with an email conversation a month before the date to discuss the type of project you would like to focus on. For example, a one day session could be a day of practising rope handles or learning about growing willow. A two day session could be exploring the frame basket technique and making outdoor products. A three day session could be perfecting one particular style or making a different basket on each day. Our booking system only allows you to book a day at a time. If you would like to book more than one day, the days need to be purchased individually. Please add your name and the name of the other person attending the day. Thank you. WR15 8RT 9:30am - 4:30pm Includes all materials, tools and homemade lunch and cake. Take home material available to complete projects.
